I was looking through the image archive on the website and I came across this picture

I think its a sikorsky (someone might want to correct me on that one :%).  I just wondered if back then was it available to fly on Euroharmony flights with passengers or was it just painted in Euroharmony colours?

We had some heli's before we changed to the current livery and it was just for fun.

Yeah there were no flights to be flown with helicopters, they're just there for leisure flying ;D and maybe coporate flights! ;)

I thought it would be nice for EHM to implement a helicopter division but it was finally turned down, the helicopters were used as private non-scheduled flight transportation during a time ago. I personally liked the augusta 109.

Cheers!

Alex;)

The idea of a private non-scheduled division I like. The freedom to fly the VFA aircraft on simulated business charters to destination of our choice would be superb and get some of the big iron boys back into the real flyers. At the moment we are allowed to 'borrow' these aircraft for our own flying (which I do often) but we don't get credited with flight time unless on tours. Bring in a charter division.

Hey great idea forming ... the charter division could offer say twenty/thirty flights a month (more if popular) and pilots could submit a request to their hub captain to take a flight ... VFA aircraft ... here I come.

Maybe it would be an idea to start with one helicopter and add it to the vfa division.  From here we could see how popular it is and then work out what to do??????

I can see that one of the topics has been brought back to life once again. I don’t want people to think I’m a grumpy old man. But listen guys, it’s an old subject. And as Alex already has said, management has turned this idea down, more then once. So I wouldn’t count too much on this idea, whether it’s a helicopter division or a part of the VFA division. I have a feeling that the management haven’t changed there point of view on this subject. And another thing is, this is perhaps not the best time to be talking about an expansion of our divisions. I would think that the management has more the enough to do at the moment.

Does anyone have a screenshot of the Bell 206 we had back then? I made the repaint, and the pilot had the EuroHarmony logo on his shirt.
