I downloaded that flight dynamics file by Pedro Oliviera because concorde did not go over 1.5mach.

But when i installed those i got worse problem. When i get in the air and start getting more altitude the plane goes crazy. It starts spinning around like drunk bird and falls down.

What is wrong and how could i repair that?

Thanks!

Did you use the automatic weather from the internet??

If I use this, the same problem appears to me, too, and if I switch it off again, everythings normal.......

Greets and welcome aboard!

No. I just wanted to try that plane so i just started flying without changing any settings. And i tried again many times but didn't help. Same thing every time.

I have always found the concorde a bit of a death-trap, moreso with the PM2 one, I thought it was just me ;)

I think it is just the way you handle the aircraft. They are very sensitive and after about FL240 they like to climb VERY slowly. Nice and gentle with them :>

What FS version are you using, mabey there are issues with FS2002, but i fly it fine, apart from T/o but thats entirely my fault lol

Hi guys!

I hava both FS2002 and FS2004. I modified the dynamics a bit to both versions, and made available at EHM website. I must say too, that I do not have any problems with the plane.

Could you tell me more circumstances about the problem? For example do you use the afterburner for supersonic jump? Usually I start the flight at FL350@M0.9, when I turn on the afterburner, gain some speed and then start to climb. Climb rate is about 2000 fpm. If you climb too fast, the bird lost speed and may fall down like any other plane. But if the climb and acceleration goes parallel there will not be any problem. At around M1.7 you can turn off the afterburner and it will blast you until M2.0. Of course, in the final phase you should decrease the climb to 1000...1500 fpm.

If this "tactic" still do not help you, probably an add-on messes on your FS installation. Maybe FSUIPC, or a bad panel, or some weather add-on...I do not know.

Well i don't think it's handling because this thing always happens right after takeoff. I take gears up and turn afterburner off. I don't even try to turn anywhere. Just flying straight. Suddenly it starts turning to the right and not long before the thing is spinning around like crazy.

I have looked speed carefully and it's not that. There is always enough speed. And it's not overspeeding either.

And i have FS2004.

Edit: It works now. I reinstalled it again but for some reason this time it started to work. :|

I am glad you sorted it out finally. It is really a brilliant plane, and a real challenge to fly. I hope you will enjoy it too :)

I also have a couple of questions here concerning the Concorde.
1. What is the best way to decelerate just before start of descend? As far as I know there are no sped breaks.
2. With absense of flaps I use high angle of attack in the final approach and untill touchdown. Is it correct? I use about 160 KIAS with 10-14 degrees pitch up.

Yes, the high angle of attack is definitly correct.

They did this thing called a reduced noise approach. Speed was kept at 190kt until 500 ft above the ground to reduce the angle of attack and thus noise on the ground, then reduced speed to 160 or Vref if you have calculated it. Pitch at this point would be 10.5 degrees. When the throttles are cut, the pitch is slightly incresed to 10.75 degrees until the mains touch.

Don't forget as well the fuel tranfert to the front for the supersonic jump.
True, Concorde is quite a tricky plane, but it's real happiness when you master it ^^

Well, I used to start descend at about 330 nm far from the destiantion. This distance is enough for slowing down to subsonic (200 nm) and make a normal descend (130 nm).

Before entering subsonic again, I used to set the autopilot to M1.0 and FL300 at -2000 fpm. It will slow down while enter into a "normal" flight level. From FL300 at M0.9 you need about 100 nm for a fine descend. As Concorde does not have speedbrakes, and moves faster than normal planes, it may need 110...130 nm distance instead for a fine, slow descending.
