OK everyone be sure to file an odd flight level (e.g. FL290 FL310) because the flight goes southeast.

Also, make sure that you have RWY36L at EHAM (the Polderbaan) is in your scenery because it may well be in use for departure and it is not in default scenery.

Are we using CTOTs or just a free-for-all to see who can connect first and get in the air?

Just to bring this back in to the eye of the pilots, it has disappeared off the recent post lists, for a reminder the flyin is in 2 days (Friday) at 1800Z.

Remember to pack up your charts, if anybody needs any help with the LOC/DME approaches, I can help, or I am sure somebody else will.;)

Looks like I might be making a fool of myself on Friday..... :%

Well I downloaded the charts and I am currently downloading the scenery so I will be there, but my knowledge is still a little raw! Do we have a TS server for the fly in? Just wondered in case of trouble!

See you there,

Phil

Hi

note that there is a new runway at EHAM that isn't included yet in FS. If you don't use a scenery which has it, you can download a small fix from the following location: http://www.ivao.org/nl > Services > Downloads > sector-scenery > Polderbaan voor default FS2004 scenery.

or simply click here:
http://jonghold.com/nl/downloads/sector-scenery/p5-2004.zip

I have NL2000 scenery and i suppose that 36L is inside that scenery:-) is it possible to communicate each other to choose start place on EHAM - to be together?

please also note that tonight there will be the heavy load event at EHAM as well. A lot of traffic is expected so you might want to be a little bit early to get your clearance.

Moris,

Unfortunately there is no dedicated way to do that.
Normally we get organized on the taxi process. Because you can slow down or accelerate to catch someone ..

Well people this was an excellent fly-in. Thx to all that participated. We had excellent ATC along the way. The ATC at LOWI was amongst the finest I ever had.

If anyone has any picures please send them to me.

Well it was my first but it certainly wont be my last. Thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks to all that helped me along the way.

My landing was a little long I know, but I was a bit overspeed so had to flare quite late.

I just hope Razza made it back from the mountains...... maybe he left his "d**n Computer" there! ;D

Cheers,

Phil

Hi,

It was the BEST Fly In that I ever participated!
I would like to give you all congratulations. We were 12 out there.
We got on the Top 3 on the Airlines being represented at IVAO!

Congratulations one more time.
Here goes some pictures:

Helicopter view at EHAM. So many airplanes!

Number 2 for take off :)

After take-off ... Still, so many airplanes on ground.

Approaching Innsbruck ...

After landing, with the some of us ...

And ... the first ProPilot image!
Here you can see what flights were reserved for this fly-in!

Well I gotta apologise for not being tere the whole way. My FS crashed. So I went to LOWI and did an IFR local, arriving near to Razza (EHM1343).

It was a great flyin the best I have ever been in - looking forward to more!

Great event! The ATC did a great job! I set of a bit to early and was first out and first there. I ended up doing a differn't route from you guys, flying south of EHAM other Belgium, but I noticed we all passed EDDS. My landing was great and got my heart going, even worse, it was dark! I was shocked that Cyriel had to go around (does this mean something? ;D)

Here are my pics...

Thanks for the great flight guys! ;)

Well, as I've said to the management team, I am entirely not chuffed that I missed the fly-in... I didn't get home 'til late and I was knackered (I've had a cold for a week now...) so I went straight to bed.

Love the screenies though, Bruno - is that the PMDG 738 I see before me?

Well, I'm surprised that the first time in a while, I managed the whole flight without interuptions. Maybe because I used the standard A320 instead of the PSS one..... (I am still having problems getting the ILS Approach working on my PSS, then again I suppose I should RTFM!)

Cheers,
Phil
