Mad time at EGLL
« on: April 30, 2004, 06:27:43 pm »
Well I was trying out all the new Project AI stuff I got at EGLL and its was really mad.

This was a pic of the approch. There was alot more before that that had to go around and these were the first back fighting for the first landing.:o Only the first one landed and the other two had to go around.

But that was not the worst, all the planes that luckly got to land, ended up in a massive que up woth all the planes wanting to take of.
Just to say...that Dash 8 thats there had been there for about 20 mins:o.

I think they would have been stuck there all night.:]

Its just that same old problem when it comes to AI planes :@

Oh and before all that happend, nothing happend :]

You should modify your AFCAD file too. The planes should use 1 runway for landing and 1 for takeoffs. In EGLL its not so difficult, as only 2 runways operational.

AMD X4-955 3.2GHz / Gigabyte 770T / 4 GB DDR / Gigabyte GTS450 1GB DDR
Samsung 226BW@1680x1050 / WinXP.3 / FS9.1 / FSX.1 / Saitek Cyborg 3DGold

I used to get this problem, but like Robert says, you should get the AFCAD program and edit the files. I did this and things now run much smoother. I made the two runways operatonal at EGLL which was ok. I also did it for EHAM, which can be a bit risky because sometimes planes are taking off in the path of aircraft on final approach. :o

And here's a pic of the a/c waiting to take-off at noon...

And yes, that is an AI Concorde ;D. You can find it on AvSim.com under the name concorde_ais.zip

Oh, by the way, I used AI Speed (available on Avsim I think) to modify taxi speeds... otherwise those planes would have been there until the time the should have returned :]
