Strange weather

Hi,

Today i was on a flight from egll to eham using real world weather, when i was halfway the plane was drifting to the left and right at fl 25000 and the speed was drifting also the speed was locked at 340 kts and it went up and down (in a range from 200 kts to 450) this result in a stall:[ i managed to get out of the stall, but i find it all very strange.
can somebody help me with this or have a answer how this is possible, maybe i have something to configure.

Best regards,

Ferry

This situation happens to me very often specially when you fly in Northern Europe even though last Saturday when flying from Malta to Arlanda it happened again.
This resulted in being penalized two or three times with overspeeding.
What I do now is to keep a close look at the wind (with the A320 and A330 this is easy because the panel shows the wind direction and speed) and when this situation arises I go for manual throttle since you can react faster than the AT.
You need to know the stall and maneuvering speeds of your plane to avoid furhter problems while making the manual corrections in power.
You can recognize the problem when the wind start shifting very fast and when the speed is over 50 kts you can bet you will have problems if you fail to take a corrective action quickly.
I can guarantee you that after being 3 or 4 hours doing this you end up so tired that you are done for the rest of the day or night.
I don´t think that you can have such violent wind shifts in real life except when turbulence or wind shear is present.
I will take the advice and try to do some work in FSUIPC to try to smooth the shifting.

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.
