Man! talk about frustrating!! I went through the whole thing of locking a flight (FLT#4478), preparing a flight plan, getting everything running, filing with Vatsim etc. Then I started Flight Logger. No problem , there was my flight. I clicked on everything and finally Pro Pilot only to be told that the aircraft I had was not correct for the flight!!! :@
I had locked the darn flight already with a 737 on the web site and now it wanted me to use a Cat 4 aircraft instead and wouldn't let me do anything.!! As I didn't have a Cat 4 aircraft anymore I just cancelled everything in frustration. I won't be wasting my time going through that again!!

Hi there,

in this situation, simply do not care if FlightLogger tells you aircraft is incompatible with flight. You can fly a Class4 route with the B737-800.

After selecting the flight number and aircraft, click on ProPilot, and it will run.

Darn! Wish I'd known that! I'll go back and try again when I get a chance. I cancelled the flight I was holding.

Yep, there is a rule, you can fly any class 1,2,3 flights with any class 1...3 aircraft, and class 4,5,6 flights with class 4...6 aircraft, if your rank is allowed too, and the aircraft is able to do the flight ! Although it will not look fine at the PIREP, that you did a Class4 flight with a B767 for example, but it is allowed.

FlightLogger do not "accept" this rule, and that is why it reminds you the incorrect class. You can ignore this message if you know you kept the rules. Also, at the end, always the HUB captain decides about validity of the PIREP so you cannot do things wrong...or if you did, you will not get those hours in the career.

Well guys, it was a great idea and probably works for a lot of people but after 4 wasted hours trying to log pro-pilot hours I have decided to go back to the old way. The last two flights gave me the following messgae.

Dear Pilot,
We don't have enough information to consider your ProPilot flight, a valid one.
It means that your Flight Logger didn't send us the minimum information between Engine startup to Engine Shutdown.
Normally this happens when you loose internet connection on your flight.
Because we don't know if you made a penalty on that time, we cannot accept your flight.
If you think you didn't lost internet connection, that use this procedure to use the Flight Logger:

- Start Flight Simulator.
- Choose Airplane and shutdown the engines and battery.
- Place the airplane on the gates, on the respective airport.
- Start Fligth Logger, choose ProPilot Flight.
- Fly.
- After landing and taxiing, shutdown your engines, turn the battery off, and go to the Flight Logger to submit your PIREP.

All those things were done as per instructions TWICE! (and I did not lose internet connection) It's back to the old way for me (Which wasn't really so bad anyway :-)

I hope to try it again sometime but just can't afford the time at the moment.

PS I am going to try and run it all again without FS Flightkeeper which I use. I am wondering if it has an effect on Pro-Pilot somehow. They both do basically the same job.
