Mesh Recommendations for USA

Hi All,

I'm just setting up my scenery for some US flights, and I'm after some freeware mesh recommendations.  In Europe you typically only have the choice of one or two, but in the US, it seems that every man and his dog has created a mesh.

I know FSGenesis is the best, but I'd prefer freeware.

So, could you recommend me some mesh for USA.

http://simviation.com/fsdterrainsrtm.htm will suit your worldwide needs. You will need to subscribe if you want any large amounts as the download rate otherwise is tragic. The whole caboodle is over 8GB !!  Well worth the effort.

The subscription is worth it. There are some great files on the site many of which are unique to them.

Good find there Bill. If I didn't already have one of the two payware terrains (and hence meshes) Robert recommended I'd be so tempted (think I got the not UltimateTerrain one, but can't remember off the top of my head)...

And here's a perfect example of a wasted merch opp... How difficult would it be for them to offer a DVD of the entire collection.

I got the lot some while ago now and am very pleased with it. Downloaded with Lightning Download - it loaded up all the URLs and I went away for the weekend while it did the business.
