Yes, you're right; EuroHarmony is definitely an international airline. I am not at all suggesting that an international group of pilots in EuroHarmony is a bad thing, if anything it serves to strengthen the already tight-knit group that is EuroHarmony's pilots and their respect for each other and their hobby; flight simulation.
But what is the point, as Karsten already mentioned, in jumping the gun? Bruno said that EuroHarmony planned to expand the airline by one new HUB every year. I personally don't think that EuroHarmony should be considering such a rate of expansion, at least not until our new HUB in Atlanta has been given a fair trial. The HUB has only three members, and not even a HUB Captain!!! Maybe the HUB will grow in time, and that is why we need to wait before figuring out where the next HUB will be.
I don't want to sound pessimistic to you all, but all this fuss for new HUBS doesn't really hold much water. Having HUBs in certain countries doesn't mean that pilots of that nationailty will be attracted to this airline. We have a Swiss HUB, for example, but how many Swiss pilots? I realize this is a bad example since LSZH has been a traditional HUB for EuroHarmony and has been in service possibly longer than any other HUB we still use. To add onto that idea, none of our 'new' American pilots have actually joined the American HUB. Personally (and this is just me spitballing) I think people join EuroHarmony for the 'Euro'. There are many American Virtual Airlines, and I think if people wanted to fly around America they would join one of those airlines. I have absolutely no problem with EuroHarmony expanding, however.
What do the MTs think? After all, they're the ones doing all the hard work to open up the new HUBs. I think we underestimate the amount of work they do for us. My hat's off to you, great work guys!
