I wanted to see whether anybody would understand my post, and yes Ben, I am crazy.

I'm now rooting for Germany, considering all my favourite teams are out.

I saw the whole match between ENG and POR and I must admit that teams that can't score with such not good defenses must leave the world cup really fast... :8
That was really a boring match, maybe the most boring of the whole tournament and Rooney's red card is only an invention of that stupid spanish referee, that gave an other invented red card to one of our defenser during AUS-ITA.....
I am really happy to see Brazil out too, even if I hate France, especially Viera Trezeguet because they play for Juventus... I am sure that the ITA-GER semifinal will give the world cup winner and of course I will be in the main square of Milan watching the match with my face green, white and red. GO ITALY!!!!!!

Well...I want to see some amazing football, like Zidane last night, and Henry, France layed on a mastercalss in how to beat Brazil and Zidane plated the best footy of the tournament.

Well done to France, lets hope the rest of the teams follow suit!

I´m surprised how well did Zidane performed yesterday!:o But while he plays for Real Madrid, his playing doesn´t seem to be the same. It´s a pitty for me that he retires after the World Cup, :'( I think he´s still in good physical conditions to keep playing

Bruno,

I agree with you on one thing: Portugal will be the winner. However, saying that Portugal will be the REAL winner is just hilarious :D! With this, I refer to the match Netherlands - Portugal, so I gues you'll all see what I mean ;)

I´m with Bruno (I´d likeour neighbours would win). Portugal almost made it in 2004 Euro Cup. In relation to GER-ITA match, mainly I don´t mind at all who wins, although for me all seems that Italy will win (they´ve only have received one goal during the whole championship). But the other semi-final I want Portugal to trash France!!!! and retire Zidane at once:]

Hi,

I think that Portugal has the best team on the 4 ones.
They are very creative, have excelent players who besides working alone, know how to work as a team.

You don't find all of this on the other teams.

I'm confused. I like all those countries.

ITALY: My best Friend is Italian
GERMANY: They helped Croatia after the war
FRANCE: they're just so french!

Hey Bruno,

Don't forget, they also know how to cheat! LOL Only kidding, the British press is killing Ronaldo over here, that picture of the little wink he gives to Scholari after Rooney was sent off was on the front page of virtually every Newspaper!

I personally don't think Portugal have the firepower to beat Germany or France but we will see!

Well, I think Scolari has tought these guys how to play a modern football. i mean, they play fast and a triangular play which nowadays  is absolutely deadly. And they also have fast young players, which can surprise the other team. Maybe Germany is a more tactical team, nevertheless I bet for Portugal to go the final. Will see within a few minutes;)

I personally hope Portugal get the living daylight kicked out of them!
After 2 disgraceful unsportsmanlike performances, they dont deserve a place in the Final, let alone semi.

Zidane will give them a master-class in skill and firepower!!

Im rooting for France!

Don´t be resentful Razza. ;) Personally I think Portugal played better than England, or at least the second time and the extra time (which is what I was able to see).

I think they play better, another reason is that I want them to beat the French. (I can´t stand their swagger!!):$

I don't think it really matters who wins out of Portugal or France, both of them would get absolutely pounded in the finals against Germany (or Italy, if by some miracle they get through ;))

Well obviously Miracles happen. That was the best game of the tournament and I really don't think there was anything between the two teams. Italy were the team that managed to pull it off and maybe France v Italy will be not such a bad final after all. Both of these teams have found great form in the latter stages instead of peaking too early.

Jose, as an England fan, I agree with you to a certain amount about the fact that Portugal played better during the second half and extra time. Thats because they had an extra player. 2nd half and extra time stats from the game show that England had more shots on goal in that time even though they had far less possesion. I really don't think on their performances during the World Cup so far that they will play as well as either the Germans or the Italians did tonight. That was how football is supposed to be played and if I had just paid 400 euros to watch that in the stadium, I would think I had got great value for money! Lets see if we can say the same about Portugal tomorrow night, past games don't count now, only the next game! It's time for Portugal to show the world how good they are, as far as I am concerned, they haven't proved that they are capable of beating the world yet, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. It would be nice if they win, that would mean that England only just lost out to the world champions. (They had nearly 60 minutes of open play with an extra man to put one past England and they didn't manage it, I don't think France will give them that chance!)

Phill I agree with you. Many people say that after the first round is "when  actually the Football Championship starts". It could be considered that every match is like a final. But appart from that the teams that get to the final are those who have played acceptably all mixed with a little of luck.

In relation to Portugal, will see tomorrow.:s

ITALIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :):):):):)
Come on Portugal, come on France we are going to destroy you too like we destroyed Germany. :@
I hated this game because I had been nervous for 120 mins and with 30°C in Milan, you can't breath normally :>
After first goal I got crazy, after the second I took my motorbike and I went in the main square of Milan and I have no more voice. Naturally with a big flag on my shoulders and I finally destroyed the motorbike's horn.....:[
Paid 5 euros for another big horn and 5 euros for a big frozen beer, I am really happy.
Wishing to see the final in Australia on sunday....:8
