...train me for my first time online?

I cant request at the Request page as it says that my ID or password is incorrect.

do i have to enter the EHM password or the IVAN password?

I think I might be able to train you. The really big thing on IVAO is Phraseology. I should be able to help with that, as I've read a 200 page manual about it. If Murray can't do it, I can always help.

However, there is one thing to consider-time

im +8 GMT time, your in england and im in singapore, you may need to do that in the morning while i do it at night...

Phraseology is the study of how you say things in Flying. like,

PILOT: EGLL ground, EHM1883 at gate 368, ready for startup and pushback.
ATC: EHM1883, Startup and pushback approved. Call when ready to taxi
PILOT: Startup and pushback approved, wilco (will comply) EHM1883

I read the EHM Online Flying Manaul the other day and I have seen lots of "Roger's" and "Wilco's";D;D;D

Well, when I went to IVAO, they say their goal is to have the best complex but easy online flying system. I thought their goal was to stuff as many PDF files as possible, and confuse you!

But, I have done 2 flights and I have already remebered the whole lot of stuff you need to say (I still have trouble with sqauwks. I really want to say "Sqauwking 1254) Everyone on IVAO is willing to help, and if you do come across someone nasty in ATC, ask on Unicom. If their nasty on Unicom (which they shouldn't be, as there's alot more people on unicom then ATC). I just hope you don't come into a bad situation like I did once. Here is how it went:

ATC: EHM1883, switch to EGLL_N_TWR
(I then switched)
Me: EGLL_N_TWR, EHM1883 with you, at FL300
ATC: Hello Matthew I haven't seen you in a long time. Hows your half term?
Me: What? How did you know me?
ATC: I'm your chemistry teacher.

I paused then, and then looked at IVAE, then map, and it was her!

At least I know that my chemistry teacher has other hobbies. I don't look forward at seeing her tomorrow.

I find this hard to believe... EGLL_N_TWR does not exist and is not a valid IVAO callsign. And the IVAO ATC tracker shows me that that callsign has never been used.

And wich very dumb 'ATC' would switch you over to TOWER, at FL300 (30000 feet) :%

BTW, Javier/Matt... If you guys want to arrange a mutually agreeable time for a "chat" about online flying, I'll see if I can be there too to offer assistance/advice. Javier, if you've read the Online Flying Manual (v1.4 or later) you already have a list of software you'll need. Please make sure you have installed IvAp and TeamSpeak2 before you "turn up" to any training sessions

That's the UK CAA radiotelephony document; CAP413. UK "pilots" could do worse than actually having a copy of (and reading) it.
