Well I was supposed to do a five leg trip using the following flightsheet, based of what a real world airline would use (well the actual legs, the route and weather would come a lot later closer to the flight).

The TAFs were nice and accurate, theres a few mistakes with the times, but what the hey.
This is what EGLL looked like when I was going to set off on my first leg, somewhere during the start up I screwed up and the engines and the APU wouldn't start, so I missed this leg out and waited for the second leg.

The weather at EDDF was a lot better, with only a few spells of rain...

The rain!

Decent into Innsbruck...

Finals, this is the hard approach! Looking good me thinks.

After a twenty minute turn around Ryanair style, it was time to get back into the air. Nice snow capped mountains.

After landing at Frankfurt, I set of for Amsterdam...

Departure from AMS...

Decent at Heathrow, entering the fog...

Wing shot...

Over London before intercept onto 27R (more on this)...

Whilst intercepting the ILS for 27R, Heathrow Tower contacted me, but to my knowledge tower was not on-line, so I picked 27R for arrival. The guy decided to use text, which dosn't go down well when your flying with practically zero vis. He cleared me, but being on text, I could read the text whilst bringing the plane down, so I just acknowledged it and carried on, passing through the decision height with the approach lights in sight, at the top corner of my screen I see this message "EHM-1358 go around!!!", pushing the GA button and pulling up I'm thinking to my self why on earth did he send me round? Later finding out
I was landing on the wrong runway.
The moral of the story,
carry on and land, no, the controller should get over the fact that the pilot is landing on the runway parallel to the one he's supposed to be landing on and when there's no traffic, let him carry on. Plus another annoying things like telling me to hold 160IAS, WHEN THERE'S NO OTHER SODDING AIRCRAFT!!
The 27L approach, being slightly peeved off.

The fog...

CATIII landing...

At the gate...

Ciao.
