PIREP
« on: February 03, 2007, 07:52:05 pm »
Hello people,

Is anything wrong with the manual submission of Pirep's??

For a change was not able to use the Flight Logger and so have to submit a Pirep by hand again for the flight which i just finished, but everytime the site 'hits me' that she want's to confirm my email address for whatever funny reason!?!?

My emailaddress is still the same, no changes there. So, when i click 'confirm emailaddress'... i land on the EuroHarmony FTP-site!!! Nice and undoubtably interesting for those who enjoy browsing through whatever there is to find there, but not what i wanted.

Something to look into perhaps?? Will try to submit my Pirep later tonight, perhaps more luck then...

Have fun and best regards,
Stef

Ok, over-reacted perhaps a bit. Just noticed that in the background things appeared to be working ok and i had some 8 emails waiting to be confirmed.

None the less, what i still find strange is that after i had selected to confirm my email i landed on the ftp-site, in the middle of a dozen or so scripts and stuff.

As said, perhaps something to look into...

Best regards,
Stef (now with confirmed email ;) )

I had the same problem. I changed my E-mail address, and it didn't confirm it properly, so whenever I submitted a PIREP, it went into the database to see what E-mail address I had, and since it hadn't confirmed it, the PIREP could not be sent.

Since you haven't changed your E-mail, I think there's just a problem with the E-mail confirmation button, since you did press it. Maybe every time you press that button, it's meant to send the new info, but it doesn't get sent properly
