Gentlemen!
Right now, I am testing our B 747-400F F1 model and so far I found two bugs.
1. When the engines are shutted down there is still remaining a sound very alike working APU. No harm, but this is very unpleasant and unrealistic. The sound of working engines is hilarious! I talked to Roberto but we couldn't find the solution. Does anybody know how to remove this bug?
2. More serious is the bug concerning COM 1. This device is placed in FMC frame down right, but doesn't work. You can't change the frequencies, even if you see + and - sign. Right under is COM2, and this device is operating normaly. I just finished the testing with making a direct contact with Paris RDR, and it works perfectly. So, for everybody who will fly online on IVAO network, don't worry. ATC works absolutely perfect using our aircraft's COM 2. Just set the proper frequency and here we go.
All other systems are working perfectly and all the reactions ( Flight dynamics ) of the aircraft are very realistic. Just a few warnings: takeoffs are the best with flaps 10 and lift up at 180 kts. This can be done much better if you calculate the quantity of the fuel and don't start with fuel at 100%. After take off, set the speed to 265 IAS on your autothrottle-it's enough to pass 10.000 feet ( PP problem ), then you increase the speed. When landing, don't forget this is a huge and heavy parrot and so she needs a lot more room for manouvring. Especially this is important when you land with APP button pressed on ILS localizer. Start establishment on ILS much earlier and she will sit down on the rw as an angel. Good luck and many splendid hours during this event.
