AI traffic and Windows Vista

Hello,

Two days ago I bought a new laptop that includes Windows Vista. I have installed FS9 and a few other add-ons that I have. But I'm a bit disappointed because it seems that Ultimate Traffic doesn't work. So I was wondering if you guys know an AI add-on which is compatible with Windows Vista as well as FS9. I was thinking of Aerosoft's Traffic X but I'm not sure if it would run in FS9. What could you tell me about this? :%

Hello Jose,

as we don't really know which add-ons you may have and there's so many of them, the best thing to do is visit their websites and see what they state about compatibility.
Most publishers make the comaptibility issues quite clear wherever they exist in order to avoid misselling.

As for MyTraffiX (v. 5.0) is obviously compatible with FSX. I also quote from their Website

"The DVD also includes an updated version 4.1 of MyTraffic 2006 for the FS 2004".

Actually I'm a bit confused because as you wrote : "The DVD also includes an updated version 4.1 of MyTraffic 2006 for the FS 2004". I guess it is necessary to have My Traficc 2006, isn't it? But my real worry is that I'm looking for an AI Add-on which is compatible with Vista and Flight Simulator 2004. I imagine that Traffic X is fully compatible with FSX as well as Windows Vista as it is a "just made" add-on:] but I bet it is not for FS2004.

If Traffic X is compatible with FS2004, for sure I'm purchasing it, but I need to be completely sure.

If you take a look at the Simmarket place:

You can read that MyTrafficX is indeed compatible with FS2004, so you have nothing to worry about. I have MyTraffic2006 and it´s great.
