Don't know how much of an effort this means, but is it possible to change LEAM to the correct spelling "Almería" (instead of "Almeira" in Euro Harmony's database)? ;)

Thanks

Christian

Hello Christian,

the answer to this is 'yes and no'.
It is easy and it is not.

let me be more clear :)
It is not hard to make this change and correct the place's name.
However, updating the database is time-consuming and so it done at regular intervals but not all the time.

Hence, the answer is I have noted this point and have put down on our list of things to change.
As soon as we have an update run on our database the name will also be corrected together with some new flights that will be added.

I hope I have covered your query.

With best regards,

Hi Sotiris, I had a similar request about a couple of years ago.
The Timetable shows 4 flights to Venezuela. Two of them are OK (SVMI and SVMG). The other for SVSO is sort of critical for it is an Air Force Base, no ILS among other things. But the one I really would like to discard is the ones for SVCL. This is a small private airport with a rwy 800 x 45 mts, no lights, no fuel, no customs so I difficult that all the type 7 flights from EGLL, EHAM and LPPT can make it there. At the time of my first request I asked to eliminate this airport and instead include SVMC (Aeropuerto International La Chinita) which serves Maracaibo, the second largest city in Venezuela and of course, it has an airport with all the facilities and a 3000 x 45 mts runway, ILS, fuel, customs, etc. Besides, it is my hometown:>
I know that this may not be easy as you said, but at least, please include it for the next database updating.
Also, in the timetable for Colombia, the flights for SKCL which is Cali, a large Colombian city appear as Bogota, the capital of the country. There are some flights correctly placed for SKBO, Bogota's airport.
Hope this can be corrected.
Regards,
Hector

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.

Hi Sotiris,
May I add a point for the next update of the data base too.
Today I flew to Curacao.
When I wanted to lock the plane for the trip back home, TNCC
was mentioned as Willemstad,Nauru.
I landed however on the airport of Willemstad,Netherlands Antilles.;)

Jaap

Actualy it's "Hato International Airport" [TNCC]

The city is "Willemstad", on the island "Curaçao", region "Netherlands Antilles"

;)

ps: Adding SVMC would be great !! +1 ;D

Hi Rico,
You are right.
I lived there so I know what you mean.
However I looked as comparison to TNCA (should then be Aruba)
but is stated in the database as Oranjestad what in fact is the capital of Aruba,so I proposed the same to TNCC.(By the way Bonaire is stated correctly as TNCB=Bonaire/Netherlands Antilles.)
Cheers,
Jaap
