Hello.

I am back after an absence. My computer had a few viruses on it so we rebooted it and started from scratch. So when i got back online i had to catch up with the fs world. I soon stumbled across a 767 300er made by IFDG. it is absolutley brilliant. it puts the POSKY version to shame. it has loads of detail like opening doors and apparently, the fight dynamics are more realistic. What are the chances of getting the 767 fleet upraged form POSKY to IFDG

Cheers

I disagree.. The POSky dynamics were much better suited for weight and balance. Granted the fuel consumption performance needed adjustment I find the POSky 767 a better model.

As for detail, I never cared much for a virtual *cabin* or opening cabin doors. I am usually too busy flying to stare at a plane on the ground. It's neat but, I think VA aircraft should stick to a balance between performance and eye candy.

Appears that the POSKY one would perform better on slower computers like mine so i guess it would be more beneficial to keep the POSKY one for a little longer

I'm not sure our repainters like idea of having to do the same job twice. If I know IFDG and POSKY you have to do two repaints because the texture for the two models are different from each other.

We have the "latest" 777 from Meljet. We have V1 of the model now, while V2 have only a better virtual cabin and nothing more. Probably we will switch to V3 when it comes out, but currently stay with V1 as it is more framerate friendly.

Also there will be some repaints for the commercial products, like the PMDG B1900, or B738 in the future.

I red a very long conversation on the IFDG forum about their B767. They mentioned many bugs about the plane: texture misalignements, texture mixing, and a quite bad dynamic model. IFDG was apologizing, but they said, they cannot improve the plane as the designer is now at POSKY, and they do not bother with renewing old models.

If you feel the POSKY model is not enough realistic, it is probably because the FDE is not the latest. I am planning to renew the 767 in texture and FDE, so changes can be expected. ;)
