How often is the amount of waiting passengers updated?. Some airports are low on waiting passengers, and should this be a consideration before locking a flight, as it is bad economics to fly an airliner with only 1 Passenger.

I agree, I always try and take Pro Pilot flights with a full load. Maybe we could have the ability to lock the flight out until there are enough waiting PAX?

Iain was flying a 777 last night with 1 passenger ;D

An example of where FSP integration would have been useful ;)

Hi,

As you can imagine if you do the same flight many times then the number of passengers will decrease a lot on that flight.

The idea is to do different flights so the passengers number can increase on the previous flight that you made.

Also, we cannot change much the passengers algorithm here. If we change it in order to have more passengers on airports, imagine the flights that we don't do so often ;D ... It will be thousand of passengers there.

So, I will think about it, but definately we need to find a solution here. On the other day I made a flight with .... only the flight crew :o ...

Regards,

As a temporary solution to the problem, could pilots not lock a flight unless the waiting passengers is sufficient to give you a 60% passenger load.

Hi,

It looks a very nice temporary solution Bruce. Thank you.

Also, I am going to change the coeficients on the passengers algorithm to inject more passengers (but not too many!) ;D ...

Murray it was a 767 but still, I did only have one passenger. The rute was a popular one I guess, Zurich to Majorca. It was a Class 4 flight.

I agree with Bruce, 60% is a good value.

No. He looked a bit weird so I put him as far back in the plane as I could ;)

Not sure if this was noticed before already but on Cargo flights it also has a number of passengers available. This should be converted to Lb's of cargo somewhere in the future I guess.

And what about setting up a ticket price that coud be used to pay the new plane's fleet injection or maintenance?

It's just a suggestion... :)

but then you have to pay at least 100 000 € per ticket. The only one who could pay so much are the bosses of Boeing, Airbus, Embrear, Bae and Fokker because we buy so many of their aircrafts:]
