I am Italian so I wish to see Italy on final, even if I know that Brazil and Germany are the best team of the world. I learned two years ago ( during the Euro Cup) that Greece can be the best too, even if their best player is Karagounis.....:]
So my final can be.....Argentina-Italy.....:>

I will bet money on the fact that England will go out of the tournament at the quarter final stage. I would also lay odds that it will be Argentina that beats us, by a penalty :'(

My money for the winner is on Brazil, they are by far the best team in the world, so much talent!!!

Razza, I'll admit, that list includes some good names, but only one or two great ones! Lets face it, if that list included Ronaldinho then we would probably stand a much better chance!

During the last World Cup we didn't had to go to school when Germany played. I realy hope it is the same this year. So that I can go to the big screen at the Sony Center in Berlin or to the Fan Mile next to the Brandenburger Tor because I don't have tickets up to now :! :'( . I don't think that Germany wins but I hope that they will be the second winner :] .

Will there be any EHM event during the world champion chip?

I remember during the last world cup that I had to go to school....At school everyone had a mini-radio and everybody was listening to France - Senegal and when Senegal scored had to go to the principal because he started shouting "SENEGAL-SENEGAL-SENEGAL"....:8
This year I don't have to use mini-radio because the worldcup starts friday 9th and it is the last day of school so my prof will let me listen to the radio.... ;)

its a curse on england.everytime there is euro or FIFA WC coming, some star player breaks that part of his foot. Becks, Owen, Gerrard have suffered it too.

Can my dream final stil come true?:%

Do you have already forgotten Totti, our only good player?? He got injuried 2 months ago and he will never be OK for the WC...the injury of Rooney only a small problem for England because I think they have many other players that are good enought to supply his role..

That's what happens when the side consists of a mixture of team pleayers and prima donnas.

Now in 1966 there was a TEAM - simply that and nothing more. That's the difference.

I'm half Croatian. I went theree to visit my relatives in the easter. They are so worked up about that sport! Personally, football is one of those "It's ok" things in my books, but the croatians are always devastated when they lose, so my match would be England, because that's my dads side, and where I was born, and Croatia, because it's my moms side, and if my mom hadn't been transported in milosovic's time, I wouldn't be here.

England V Croatia

Just an arrogant European here:

That is football in Europe, even if English calls it soccer. ;D Football in America does not have any common to feet...you need to run in all sports, so it is not a common point ;D

You don't need to run in all sports, what about swimming? Kayaking? White water rafting? Skydiving? Rock climbing? Skiing?

But for the sanity of others, allow me to take up the words that pretty much sum up the American spirit...

It's my duty to win ;D

But, come to think of it, it does kinda make more sense to call it football... REAL football doesn't use much of the foot! Then again, what does cricket have to do with crickets? ;)

I am British, so I'll take this one on.

It's all done through the scoring. Here is how to get crickets in cricket:

Cricket has absolutely everything to do with cricket. You see, the third oval of the third tier, of the 120nd score, the third tier becomes the first tier, making the score 110, so the third oval has ten balls equaling 120, making the third tier have crickets hit the bast if it is the 10th score of the third tier, of the second oval, if it's the 2nd bat.

So in simple, there's no crickets involved.

Yea...but Football (soccer) is more widely played than American Football...We never call it soccer...and It was founded before american football....1863 for english football 1876 for american....

So our Football in europe was the original and the best football...
Sorry my opinion, i hate the word soccer
