Makes a change that I'm the one starting the screeny post, but if you've read my PIREP post in the online forum, you'll know why...
Anyway, onto the piccies... Banding in the sky is because I'm using 256-colour PNGs (to keep the filesizes managable)
Iain and I lined up waiting for anyone else...
Iain is on his way (and like all good Spit pilots, of course I started the engine with the cockpit open...)
Turning after initial climb-out, this was pretty much the last time I saw Iain.
The old girl in all her glory. As I say in my PIREP, not a cloud in the sky over France.
And a little bit later (over Switzerland) it's like I'm in a different sky.
Belp (the destination) is over there somewhere...
Turning from the deadside downwind, that's rwy 32 below (which I was expecting to land at right up until I got the ATIS from the tower controller)
Base turn.
Turning (a little late, but I was under "radar control") onto final.
And shutting down.
