Jav,

They run for at least an hour (and in the case of C2/C3, much longer), so I'd not be the least bit surprised if Conrad was still controlling come 2000Z (maybe even 2100Z)

@Conners: will try to be there for you mate - don't need to worry about VFR for the C2, do you?

Nah,

here are the requirements listed on the GB site:

Ability to use a SIDs and STARs given the appropriate charts.
Use of Approach Plates from Sector System.
Vector minimum of three aircraft successfully onto the ILS for approach.
Handle an missed approach and vector back onto the ILS.
Handle at least three departing aircraft (with or without SIDs, as decided by the Instructor and the pilots at fly-ins) for hand-off to center.
Handle an Engine Failure during approach for an emergency landing.
Handle a variety of emergencies (aircraft without DG/compass/ASI/etc.)
Give vectors for a visual approach.
Demonstrate use of stacks (holding points) to regulate flow of aircraft onto an ILS approach

But i should be ok ;) - hopefully ;)

I would love to be there but i've just got my A-Level results so it's a big party with lots of alcohol for me tonight.  I don't think you would appreciate a drunk pilot! lol.  But all the best anyway ;D

Commisserations mate. Was just getting ready for what would have been the first of a couple of flights (into, then out of Heathrow) when real-world went totally TU...

Did you miss by much? I'll make myself available in a fortnight (or however long you need to wait) for def.

I was about 8 marks below the pass rate i think :P - basicly i overeacted with some of the emergencies. I had 2 guys - Jim with the Heading indicator fail, and a KLM with a left engine. I stuck Robert and another EHM (sorry dont know your name at the moment) in a hold and i got penalised for that :P. But one thing he did say "Your vectoring and spacing was perfect" :P

Most think i was glad about - didnt get critisised for any phraseology, which was good and i didnt say "please" (Gaz's pet hate :P)

But i had Splendor (CA-DIR - I2 ) doing it in the end - As Gaz couldnt make it.

Hard luck mate...next time will be better ;) Although I did not understand the penalty reason. I mean I am not a controller, but if I had an emergency, I would surely make a larger separation behind the wounded plane.

I was on a Beech, and Jose was behind me on a faster A320. I did 1 complete circle over Ockham, and when the wounded plane left runway in front of me, I was only 7-8 miles from touchdown...it was not a so big separation, I think. ;)

Unfortunately I missed the 3rd round with the Concorde, you were already out :) And fortunately my FS crashed only once, over Shannon, when I was already planning to have a loooong sleep ;D

Bad luck Conrad...thought you handled my emergency excellently....by the way, your examiner requested my to simulate that emergency, i wasn't trying to give you a hard time on purpose!! Better luck next time, sure you'll pass.

Hi Conrad,

It´s a pitty that you failed, but don´t get disappointed as your ATC in my opinion was very professional. For me, it was great to see other EHM partners in the air like Robert and, (I don´t know what you may think) but yesterday´s flight, was my first English speaking Online flight and I enjoyed a lot, although it still a little difficult sometimes for me to hear properly the ATC instructions. What do you think, Conrad? I guess I need a bit of more practise. Anyway, in relation to your exam, don´t worry guy, next time will be the RIGHT TIME, and I hope to be in the air (under tour controlling) to see it!! ;)

Best regards
