EHAM parking positions
« on: October 29, 2006, 02:38:17 pm »
Greetings, i have a little question concerning parking positions of certein flights of Euroharmony. If i wished to fly class 3 or 4 flights of the Business division, do i park my aircraft on the GA appron or the Bravo appron along with other scheduled props?
I've thought for a long time that normal corporate flights were stationed at Schiphol-East.. after some research i found no results. As we try to resemble realtime operations of similar flights i thought we might follow reality in this.
Clear me up if anyone has an answer to where EHM-Business parking spots suppose to be....

Thanks, and happy flying!

Justin

A short list I have, don't have any more precise data:
Commercial passengerflights - Schiphol Centre
Cargo handled by KLM - Bravo2 apron (stands B51-B61)
Cargo handled by AeroGround Services - Romeo apron
Cargo handled by Fr8 - Sierra apron
General Aviation (VFR and bizz) - Schiphol East (and using rwys 04/22)

With regard to commercial passenger flights this can be broken down in Schengen and non-Schengen flights and be further split up according to aircraft type.

Schiphol East therefore seems to be the most appropriate for EuroBusiness.

Opening this topic again,

Do we have our own parking spaces at our HUB's, i remember we do at EGLL (on IVAO), but how about the other airports. Maybe the HUB-captains and/or MT can have a touhgt about it:%

It is not only ment for online but also for offline flying.

cheers,

I tried to discover any rules from my AFCAD file but I could not...seemed too complex, or not accurate ;D

Sorry about relighting the topic.

I'm a new member of EHM and I'm from EHAM hub. I would like to know which parking position should I use to park B1900D and/or Sukhoi 80.

Thank you ;)

Hi Renato,

once again 'Welcome' at Euroharmony ans specially in the Schiphol Hub ;)
The best position for the B190 would be general avition, here is a good site:
http://gc.kls2.com/airport/EHAM
or
http://www.answers.com/topic/amsterdam-schiphol-airport

if you want to have more detailed information, I can help you out, but not on this public forum, so just drop me an email...

best regards,

Kendy

Welcome,

The B1900D and the Sukhoi would fit best on Schiphol East and not on the main part of Schiphol. Parking M and General Aviation Parking would be the most realistic spots to park your aircraft.

Best regards,

Michelle

I'll try and check it out while I'm at Schipol to see if can spot some different locations for different aircraft. Flying thru there on Saturday on my way to Birmingham.
Maybe I'll remeber to bring my binoculares to:)

Cool "floorplan", thx :P

I usually park at D and E pier when flying with jets (especially E for heavies), and park at A or B open apron with smaller turboprops.

Bit of a bump, but i would say the B apron. Most carriers park their turboprops etc there. The complete fokker fleet of KLM also parks there.
But if its a hobby pilot, with the same aircraft ( b1900 ) i'd put him on east general aviation.

Main reason is because B apron has more ways to handle passengers / cargo.
