« on: May 17, 2007, 12:33:54 am »
The first Arlanda hub fly-in is taking place on May the 20th. We are flying a short trip from Arlanda to the Norwegian Airport: Leirin / Fagernes. It's situated in the middle of the Norwegian mountains.
I hope you will join in this event and have a great time.
The flight is short a little under 250nm.

Route:
ESSA SID ARS UN623 GRM DCT ENFG

Everyone who want join in.

Here is a link to the fly-in:

I've decided to join the fly-in;D With the terrain around ENFG, its sure to be fun;D

Theres a 2 links that are not working, first being the ENFG Scenery and second being the ENFG.

Christian! Just a small question. Is this flight programmed for 10.00 zulu ( a.m. ), or for 22.00 zulu ( p.m.) ?

It's in the morning, the zulutime uses the 24h clock.

So it will be 1000z (am):P

Here's my contribution Guys.

It all started by Javier inventing EHM's very own double decker plane:

We then slowly taxied towards the rwy:

We flew quite closely to each other:

And Matt, speeding up went past me on his way to catch Christian

On arrival, Matt arrived first, followed by Christian, then myself (I planned to arrive last but Javier was circling too far out) and finally Javier:

It was a very nice event and pity we couldn't get more people over. See you at the next one

My screenshots ;D

I was last to depart due to setting up FSPassengers and dreaded POSKY aircraft super-compressing landing gears. the plane banked a lot on the ground in a 20kts turn, engine 'hit' the ground and the POSKY 'sparks and fire' wont stop sparking, had to restart my flight :S

Everyone at ESSA ;D

Matt taking off, everyone else already airborne, leaving me taxiing to the runway :]

Finally, after the long taxi, i takeoff from runway 26, everyone already beyond 15nm from me:%

Climbing to FL280, nice clouds and lakes :)

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have now reached our cruising altitude of 28,000ft..." ;D

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are now descending to our destination. Please fasten your seatbelts..." :8

Flying over Leirin / Fagerness, circling to land on rwy 15

Circling while letting Sotiris land

Finals!

Autospoiler, Autobrake, Reverse Thrust!

Unfortunately, Autospoiler didnt auto deploy spoilers, autobrake didnt brake, and because the throttle setting on my yoke wasnt idle (I did'nt notice, was at 10 to 20%), reverse thrust couldnt engage when i pressed the buttons on the keyboard. :]:]

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have arrived at our destination, thank you for flying with the EuroHolidays division of EuroHarmony"

Great Fly-in. Thanks to Christian for organising it ;D;D;D

I've got to apologize for two things here:

1) for not taking pictures. I really wish I did! This is the first event I've had where everyone lands with a full set of wings!
2) for having to go at the end. I had to go IKEA, so I guess you could say I did go to Sweden!

Anyway, it was a fantastic flight. Nothing wrong with it, no problems with anyone being too far apart, or no problems of anyone crashing (apart from javiers POSKY problem, but there's never one flight that is absolutely perfect!), so I would like to thank Christian for organizing this great event, and Sotiris, Javier (and me) for making it such a great event!
