Excellent Franz.
Has ever happen to you that after an 8-hr flight, when you are in short final, then all those previous 8 hrs of calm and peace in your home fall apart?
At that precise moment, the phone rings or someone knocks on the front door or, like it is happening to me lately, the network fails and the terrible announcement in your earphones: "Your connection has been terminated".
Your check list is a great help for it.
We only need to develop a sort of network backup system, like the backup power units we use on the desktop computers.
Maybe some day somebody will invent it.
Cheers,
Hector

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.
