Autopilot issues whilst flying on line

Has anyone any ideas on the problem experienced below with autopilot becoming disfunctional during descent?

Flight was  from Glasgow to Liverpool last evening.
What happened was as follows so if anyone has any thoughts or ideas I would much appreciate it.
A/C A320 was on descent from FL 120 to FL 60 on full autopilot. Just prior to reaching FL 60, speed increased with no input and unable to control with AP commands.

Disconnected AP and A/T to bring back under control. Stabilised and reconnected AP. Shortly after, speed was showing as zero on MCP yet command speed was 220 kts. A/C steep nose up approaching stall. Disconnect AP again and brought A/C back under control. To cut a long story short, the A/C continued not to respond to any AP inputs with regard to speed, altitude and eventually heading as well.

Had a similar situation a few nights ago again on descent, but all is ok when offline.

Have been running with Servinfo open - would that cause any issues?

Set up is FS9, with FS Commander and SB3.

Thanks

Maybe pitot deicing was off ? I used to have these 0kts IAS and crazy A/P functions when forget about the pitot heating... but it may depend on airplane models how "real" it was programmed.

AMD X4-955 3.2GHz / Gigabyte 770T / 4 GB DDR / Gigabyte GTS450 1GB DDR
Samsung 226BW@1680x1050 / WinXP.3 / FS9.1 / FSX.1 / Saitek Cyborg 3DGold

Will check out the pitot heating..A couple of guys on the Vatsim forum have said the same thing, though have never experienced this issue flying offline even with real weather set in this aircraft.

So would that have caused an initial overspeed and then speed bleeding off to zero?
