To all EHM Pilots:

get your summer clothes out of the closet, stock up on sun cream, dust off your favourite light aircraft and join us on a voyage of discovery in the magic of the Aegean Sea.

Our voyage will take us island hopping in the Cyclades Islands on our way to our ultimate destination, Athens.

We will start our journey from Santorini or Thira as it is also known:

A thousand sunsets, a thousand memories, a thousand heartbeats, colours of blue red & gold streaking the sky ... this is Santorini island ... Poets have written about it, artists attempt to capture its beauty. Nothing can quite describe ... the unsurpassed magic of Santorini.

This tiny Greek island in the Aegean sea, rich in history & steeped in myth, is situated on the southern east tip of the Cyclades Cluster.

Once famous for its seafaring captains & thriving trade from Russia towards England, France & Italy, & even further back in time the biblical volcanic catastrophe of 1500 BC, today Santorini is one of the most popular holiday destinations worldwide.

We will take off from Santorini and head north east to Milos.

The beautiful island of Milos, constitutes a separate island of Cyclades. It was given birth by the volcanic lava that emerged through the crystal waters of Aegean. Milos has beautiful beaches that were sculptured from salty sea.

After Milos we will head north-east to Paros

The luminous Paros, like a picture in the Aegean Sea, waits for you to get you drunk with the beauty of its deep blue waters, its dry stone walls, and the simple lines of its mountains, carrying you along in a travel through its picturesque paved alleys, its churches and the magic that springs out of the place.

This dreamy island is located in a distance of only 55 minutes from Athens airport. However, there are many charter flights from abroad.

After Paros we're off to Naxos for a quick fly-by.

Naxos is situated at the center of Aegean sea. The long history is revealed to the youngest through the remains of ancient monuments.

Naxos is the biggest and most fertile island of Cyclades. Its name is connected with history, mythological narrations, wars, pirate invasions, but also with creativity.

Walking around the picturesque cobblestone paths of Chora, somewhere between myth and reality, you will discover the human power and the unfailing talent for creation.

After Naxos we're stopping at Mikonos an island most of you are familiar with as it is the party capital of the Aegean.

Already in the mid-60's Mykonos was known as the island of celebrities. All the important personalities from the international jet set were there. It soon became fashion that -luckily-didn't pass. On the contrary, its reputation spreads every year so do its fans. Travelers wanting to live a bit at these rhythms visit the center every summer and the graphic villages and dance all night in the moonlight…

Mykonos is the queen of fun. Here vacations mean party. An endless party that starts when the visitor arrives in the island and ends the moment he leaves.

Finally we will depart from Mikonos and overflying Syros we will head for our destination Athens we limos await us to take us on a fun night out up on Lycabettus Hill, with stunning vistas of the Acropolis all the way and into the sea.

This fantastic VFR fly-in is only 4 days away so make sure you reserve a space for your plane on the fly-in page by registering now!

Don't miss out - the weather should be great - sunny, 23 degrees C, light southwesterly winds (from the BBC website) - and the scenery is just stunning :P
