Heathrow - Shannon [170kb]

I took these screenshots on my 9th flight since rejoining EuroHarmony, flight EHM-2036 from Heathrow, UK to Shannon, Ireland using the Dornier 328. The flight took approximatly 1hr 30mins but could of been shorter if FS2002 ATC had been on the ball..

Taking off from Heathrow's 9L in a fairly heavy crosswind..

The departure took me round the airport and back down the side of 9R on my way to the CPT VOR..

After flying over the national parks of Wales I left the UK and began crossing the Irish Sea..

Turning over Dublin airport as I entered Irish airspace..

After crossing Ireland, and cancelling my IFR flight plan because of ATC trouble I was finally onto runway 24 final into Shannon..

Touchdown was abit to the right of the centerline because of a crosswind to the north but nothing dangerous..

To top off all my trouble with ATC, they parked me in the general aviation parking.. oh well..

The trouble I had with ATC is that I was never told to decend, so I ended up 10 miles from shannon still at 22,000ft and I was kept on Wittering Approach (who I was handed to just after takeoff) all the way to Shannon. I think I will stick to filing VFR flight plans in the future..

And just for giggles one more screen shot!

This happened after exiting instant replay with only the main wheels on the ground, an fs bug that I dont think has been fixed yet!
