Questions about penalties
« on: May 24, 2009, 12:24:25 pm »
I have in the meantime stopped with ProPilot until I get more clear guidelines. I read the ProPilot manual but found no answers there either. Could somebody clear up these points please?

[list=A]
  • The altimeter penalty (standard) is it always applied at the FL180 transition (the default TA in FS) or does it take into consideration the current TA of the destination area?
  • Where is the list of penalties with description and penalty amount?
  • How exactly are the light penalties treated? I found two different posts that partially contradict each other

A: It checks always the 18000' limit regardless the actual TMA data. It checks I believe at FL190 if you already changed it or not...

B: There is a link in the Pilot's Lounge: "Click here to view all Penalties" ;)

C: read it also there ;)
