Airline passengers forced to buy jet fuel at a scale
« on: November 19, 2011, 04:34:11 pm »
From BBC News
Thursday, November 17, 2011

Passengers on a flight from India to Britain were forced to give money to cover the cost of fuel and so complete their journey.

People traveling with the Comtel Air Austrian Airlines said they had to pay $ 30,000 among all during a stopover in Vienna to refuel.

They noted that those who had no cash were escorted to an ATM to get it.

Comtel Air said the incident should not have happened and promised to refund the money to the passengers.

That's why I always look for non-stop flights!
Hi all, have been for one month working in Mexico. Will be back at home and EHM December 18. Cheers!

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.
