FranceVFR scenery
« on: March 12, 2015, 11:16:02 am »
For those who are interested and especially for Trevor, because we discussed this last evening during our tour flight.

During our online tour flight throughout France I'm using scenery addons released by FranceVFR. It covers the whole of France, including it's islands like la Reunion and can be obtained by purchasing them by region. At the moment there's a discount on most of these packages at www.simmarket.com. Available for FSX and FS2004.

Because Trevor was wondering what the scenery looks like at different altitudes I made some screenshots at FL050, FL085, FL100 and FL150. Not higher than that, because the alt ceiling of my  A2A simulations C182 Skylane lies at 17.100ft. At that altitude my screen begins to zoom in and out rapidly as a warning that I'm reaching this ceiling. Climbing further more would result in a totally black screen, which indicates that I'm running out of oxygen and you know what that means....!

As the screenshots show: as real as it gets
