What does it do and where do you get it from? I've tried a few searches but come up with a blank.

ok phil try www.gates.to/. then select downloads

u have to register witht the company then the download is free... its basically a module that alows a 2 person flying system so u have a captain and a co pilot say u were capt and i was co- pilot. we would link over thenet using this module and we would both see on our screens a panel of the same plane. i would set all the autopilot and handle radio and otha engine intruments and u would fly. its sounds complicated but even i cud do it and i have little computer knowloege. it really is a good thing to try i was amazed by it. if u wanna try it some tiem let me know and ill explain more on team speak ok

If you fly an EHM timetable flight with another EHM pilot using this software, should you report two PIREP's then? :%

well im nt sure what ehm would say about this but it would be an nice idea to do ehm flights uing this. i only tried it wit a friend just on a test flight from manchester to heathrow.. its really quite asimple to use.... the only downside is thats its new so nt fully develoed it will only work with certain aircraft.. all the deafult FS9 crfats and a few otha adoon aircraft.. i tried it last nite with ehm's PMDG beech 1900d and that worked perfect... p.s great plane lol

It seems reasonable that each pilot can file a flight each as both of them were flying the flight albeit together....this is of course only my take on how the management would respond

Well if the PiReps are there to report flights....it is only one flight being flown isnt it, so i suppose only one could be filed. But I can see the other view - also makes sense...hmmmm

yes ben i can definatly see what u mean i can see where it causes problems. but it could be something for the management to think about and see what they feel about it. it reeally does make the flying even more interresting..

Hi,

I cannot give an answer right now. On my personal opinion, I think that both should file a PIREP because although both made the same flight, each one of them made one flight. This sounds like round stuff talking, but it is correct.

So, if this kind of option will be used by someone than we should make an official response about it.

Thanks,

I agree with you bruno i think it could work, allthough i just doubted the same as most people really that it would be strange for two ppl to report the flight...

To all:
also in regards to IVAP i must mention that the person who is not flying ie the copilot is joined on the captains IP adress there fore your flying under the captains name so u will not recieve IVAO flying hours only the captain will.... this is not what i am suggesting at EHM

This sounds like a great fun piece of software. One day I'll get round to trying it but would love to read about others experiences with it here.
