ATR 72-500 Panel Problem
« on: April 08, 2005, 09:45:49 am »
I have recently downloaded the ATR 72-500 and I am facing the following problem. The CRS and HDG knobs increase/decrease the related values by increments of 10. I have seen it in other panels in the past but I did not find any solution. I was wondering if anyone can give some advice. Thanks.

It is an FSUIPC bug. If I had FS installed here I could tell you which option is the responsible for that ;)

AMD X4-955 3.2GHz / Gigabyte 770T / 4 GB DDR / Gigabyte GTS450 1GB DDR
Samsung 226BW@1680x1050 / WinXP.3 / FS9.1 / FSX.1 / Saitek Cyborg 3DGold

Well, if you have an old version of FSUIPC, from before the day when you should paid for it...

Open the Modules/FSUIPC menu, then on the popup window, inside the "Technical" page, there will be a frame, named "FS2002 only" and there is a parameter called "Fix control acceleration". If you enable this feature, you can adjust your settings by degrees increments.

Unfortunately the ATR panel have some gauges, that moved in front this hidden bug of FS.

Good luck.

Actually I am using an even older one (2.75) which does not even have the window you mention. I will see if I can find a more recent one.
