Here's a topic that is for those of us that like to take our hobby a little more seriously by using additional hardware to simulate the less obvious controls.
Specifically, I would like to solicit opinions on GoFlight panel suppliers within Europe along with online contact details.
To start with, my opinion of the "official" UK supplier of GF hardware, [
RC Simulations ], is that anyone in the UK thinking of buying anything from these people is urged to avoid them; simply put they are hideously overcharging for import products (practically dollars-to-pounds, when the exchange rate on PayPal is $1.86 to £1). On a product like the VMAX yoke, RC want you to pay £500. If you get it direct from VMAX in the States you'll pay $549! Even if you are unlucky enough to get hooked by customs (and there are some simple techniques you can follow to make this less likely) for import duties and VAT, you'll still be saving money. Also, they are very slow in keeping up with GF - the GF ATC panel and rudder pedals have been available for months now (at least 6 months), yet RC still are not listing either of them, even for pre-order.
I give them 1 out of 5.
