And in other VATSIM-related stuff...
There are two pilot clients "licensed" for use on the VATSIM network:
Note: the FSInn, VIP model set and MPP model set links all go to the same website (the FSInn site)... They are all there for download, so I figured why go looking for anywhere else...SquawkBox 3, and
FSInnBoth make use of the same low-poly model sets - namely the
VIP model set(s) and the
MPP model set(s). If you don't think you'll be flying on VATSIM all that often, I'd suggest you grab the VIP lite set for your FS version. I cannot say for sure, but looking at file sizes and so forth, if I had to guess I'd say the VIP sets have a lower computing "foot print" than the MPP sets.
I've only every installed SB3 (as a test of my GoFlight hardware) and even then I didn't actually use it as such, so I cannot comment (as yet) on which may be preferable. All I know from other virtual pilots is that neither of them is IvAp

EDIT: And here's a link to the
Hellenic vACC website - Didn't work for me in Firefox, but worked fine in IE...
FURTHER EDIT: Be afraid, be very afraid... In my browsing round the HvACC site, I found a link to the
Hellas Scenery for MSFS Project, the attempt being to replace MSFS9's default scenery/mesh for the entirety of Greek airspace (and for those of you not yet on FS9, they have FS2000/FS2002 alternatives). Few hundred MBs (MOs for those of you that parlais...) of mesh and scenery (they don't appear to have replacement textures/scenery for LGSM Samos yet tho...) Again, looks like you'll need to be using IE to gain the best experience of the website, but some of the screenshots (esp. in the mesh section) look stunning... May have to redo the Greek tour after installing this lot.
