I just installed the new version of the NL2000 scenery. And :D:D:D:D
It is gorgeous, and I've never seen such a piece over user-friendly freeware scenery.
All in all, I highly recommend it to all of you (if you're computer is up to the task, that is.)

I have most of the sliders full or almost full with the following specs.

Intel P4 3.0Ghz
1 GB PC3200 memory
GeForce FX5700 256MB.

And yes it is a newer version than the one listed by sugested downloads.

Its a great scenery, I have a problem with the taxiways to the 'Polderbaan' but that seems to be a known issue that will be patched.

I have all PAI aircraft installed and think I saw 100+ aircraft at EHAM :o

Only drawback is that at EHAM the framrate dropped  to 10. I think I use the add on for VFR flights and stick to the default for IFR.

The amount of detail is good for a freeware add on. I could almost point my finger out of the aircraft to my home but as the autogen feature is disabled, there are no houses other than the landmarks.

My specs:
Intel P4 2,7Ghz
1GB PC2700 memory
GeForce 4 TI4800SE 128MB
Creative Audigy 2 Ex with Inspire 6700 6.1

I get framerates around the 20 fps. They tend to drop to 15 or sometimes 12 if I fly in a highly detailed plane.

I remember downloading what might
have been an earlier version and my
PC would simply begin to crawl.

My PC is pretty slow though, for today's
standard. Is just a 1Ghz P3 and having
768 MB of Ram and a GeForce 4400 doesn't
help in this specific case.

So if you have a PC like mine, save yourself
the pain...

ciao ciao!

hmm.......so it's not worth getting in my case

I've got a P3 1Ghz with only 128MB of Ram and a TNT2 card with i don't think will help much.......
