Fleet reorganisation

Since this month's newsletter came out I haven't seen any reaction in the Forum to the new line-up of the fleet... I thought it might be an idea to see what we all think.

For one, I'll be sorry to see a couple of the planes go, such as the CRJ-200 and the 777 (as I'm not yet senior enough to pilot it for EHM and won't get the chance now )

I know the restructure is a positive thing and probably influenced by the availablility of good quality freeware models for FS2004 and I'm certainly not criticising management's choices. But is there a chance any of these planes will come back as options in the Divisions..? I think the CRJ especially is a good model and would do well in EuroBusiness...

What does everyone else think..?

Have to agree with you dom that the CRJ is a sad loss....in my opinion was one of the best freeware members of the fleet, nice cockpit, everything worked and nice to fly. Oh well, have to stick with payware now i guess!!

I think it is a good idea to reduce the number of planes. I will also miss the CRJ though.

cheer up! I know many of us will miss some of the models, but I am sure you will enjoy the new models too. Unfortunately there are too many aircrafts available in the real and virtual world, and we cannot maintain so big fleet anymore. Mainly the pilots decided about the fleet's future, by flying, or not flying the birds.

For example in class 4, I too like best the CRJ, but the statistics do not show this. The Embraer-170 and the Fokker-70 are much more popular.

I can tell you (and you can red it in the newsletter), the 777 will be moved to the EuroBusiness fleet, and will show up as the superb Worldliner: 777-200LR, probably with a special repaint.

The work on the main division fleet (14 aircrafts) finished. It is now opened for the management and enters beta status. It means, we will test the new models, new paintings and brand new download pages. I hope it will go public withiin 1-2 weeks.

Hi all.
Starting a new question right here instead of making a new thread, thou my quest is related to the new fleet.
As i can see, the ATR 72 seems to be gone in the fleet download page. Yet it`s still in the pirep.  Am i still allowed to report flights flown with the ATR72??
Why I ask is that i use FS passanger along with every flight, and in fspass (in economic mode) i have to buy the aircraft i want to use.  Up to now i own just 2 aircrafts....ATR72 and the Fokker 70.  Although if the ATR is taked out of service in EHM, i could sell it(with great loss) and buy another plane to stay up to date with current fleet.  But as long i see the atr72 listed in pirep fleet, i wanna use it for flights.
Please managers, make things clear in this issue.

Hi Helix,

just to make things clear, there is an intermidiate period now, while you can still file PIREPs with the "old" planes. As it is summer now, this period will take until September, when the "old" planes will be removed totally.

So you can fly your ATR-72 for EHM during the whole August.

This gives me some time to flow in some money by FS Passanger using my current aircrafts ATR72 and Fokker 70.
Late summer(atumn), i surely have made enough money to buy more planes from our current fleet.
