Dear pilots,

Place your flight logger problems here.

Any doubts, ask them here too.

Thanks,

Hi,

Jim we will take a look.
Basically you need to FIRST select the aircraft (without any filters on the Timetable) and then the mission.

That should be :

Click on the aircraft.
Click on the flight mission that you want. The filter will make disappear your aircraft but it is already selected. It will say "Aircraft doesnt match flight" but you can make the flight and send the pirep.

Hi everybody ;)

just a small clarification:

Jim is right when selecting the flight and after that the aircraft... that is the correct way, as only the aircrafts for the selected class/division will be shown.

But some aircrafts  can be flown in more than one division, and in that case we must choose the aircraft first and then the flight, like Bruno said, despite the message that appears.

I'll think of a solution for this, but for now we can live with it as it is ;).

Bye bye

Very nice piece of kit there, I have no problems at all - just a sugestion.

When using the RouteFinder button, how is the altitude defined? Also could the code be modified so that 'warn for restrictions' is turned on? Otherwise unrealsitic routes come out.

Hi Ian,

the route finder button uses the departure and arrival airports of the selected flight; no other parameters are sent to the routine that calculates the route such as altitude and level as it should be an input from the pilot; we will test the use of this feature and will see if it's worth adding more features.
I'll implement the warn for restrictions in the next correction.

Thank you for your comments.

Bye bye

Hmm that brings back memories, that second error, from the old version. Can't help you though, the new version fixed it for me.

use regsvr32 to  Re-register msbind.dll and msstdfmt.dll. That should do the trick. If you need more detailed procedure for this let me know.

Hi, maybe try and re-install the program...but during installation, turn off your firewall.....it may be blocking it:%

Hi Everyone!

This new Logger looks and works fine!
Only one thing is disturb me: on Preferences menu I can't push the "Read Airports" button. Is it works only offline or I need to reinstall the all stuff?
(and what this feature brings up for me?)

Thanks

First, you need to uninstall the previous version and completely install this new one.

This feature will be able for you to double click on the flight that you want to make, and then choose the gate to start. Flight Logger will load your airplane on that gate automatically on the flight simulator.

I have installed ythe flight logger onto a machine that i have that does not have a flight sim (That is sitting in the middle of my living room...MEGA internet problems...AHHH AOL)  and i have the same problem as this!!!

So when i by a really long network cable to run to my hub that is upstairs...and will install it onto there, and see if i get the same problems...this machine that it runs on is not very good, and has been sitting in a cupboard for about 3 years!!!

I do not know if it was ever mentioned, but after I log a flight, land and send the PIREP to EHM, why does not it execute a New Log command automatically ?

Thanks, Robert.

to reregister msbind do the following:

goto start, run.
type:

regsvr32.exe "D:\Program Files\EuroHarmony\EuroHarmony Flight Logger\MSBIND.DLL"

You need to replace the path to the location where you actualy installed the program. When all is ok it will pop up a box telling registration of the dll was succesfull. This should solve the subscript out of range problem.

I have another problem myself when pressing the update button. It will tell me run-time error' 2147887(80040e21)': Multiple-step operation errors. Check each status value.

Anyone?

I get a crash when I click the "Save ACARS" button - Run-time error -2147024893 (80070003) The system cannot find the path specified.

I did the install to the default location (C:\Program Files\EuroHarmony\EuroHarmony Flight Logger)

EDIT: Oops, just noticed that the ACARS path in the preferences was wrong (from a previous install that had other problems)

I'll do a short test flight to see if the Logger still crashes when saving ACARS.

FURTHER EDIT: OK, forget that "error", just me being an idiot.

Some of us also like to submit the PiRep to IVAO too ;)
