Some of you will have received an e-mail telling you about our new project, The ProPilot system. Its the most advanced system used out of all VA's and we are proud to be spearheading the project here at EuroHarmony.

Current Status: ALPHA TESTS.

Planned release and deployment, 17th October :D

The ProPilot seems really cool, is it software that needs to be downloaded???

I can't wait.  will the Beta Testing be for the staff only, or will EHM be requiring Beta Testers (If So I'll Do It!!!)

There'll be a new version of the Flight Logger (v3) but otherwise it's all server-side...

And I tidied up your post just a smidge Jonathan.

Hi,

Currently we are not in beta testers ... The system will pass to production after the management tests on the first 15 days of october.

We hope everything runs well because if not the release date will be delayed :( ...

Yes, the only piece of software that you'll need is the Flight Logger.

The new Flight Logger will have an option for ProPilot.

It will also include more features that will improve the communication between server and client (your flight simulator).

This new version will be version 3.

I also wanna say that ProPilot will be open for everyone. We will have much more things to learn to fly better, and to communicate eachother.

We also want it to be a new motivation step for you to fly online. We want more EHM pilots to fly online, and we are thinking of giving an extra bonus on the flight score if you make the flight online.

Currently we are developing the penalties and failures system, and the new flight logger. We will end it by next week.

ProPilot in reality consists of Flight Logger, some scripts and a huge database on the EuroHarmony server. So, it is simulator version indipendent. It uses FSUIPC module to grab information from the game.  ;)

No Chris, we're still shooting for October 17th.

The website problems haven't actually put that big a dent in the plans (only in terms of the ancillery information on the PP pages...)

I'm looking forward to it, although I have been having ISP probs of my own, at least they were good enough to give me a month free and inform me before hand that I was going to experience problems. Hopefully they will have the exchange sorted out by the weekend so all should be good for the ProPilot Launch.

Hi,

There are some things that I would like to say to you.

Basically, before using it, READ the manual. It will be available on the suggested downloads page. We don't know if we will have time to finish it, but we are trying to. Although the major topics are already there.

Another thing is that ProPilot only works on Internet Explorer for now. it have some DHTML that is not compatible with Mozzila engine.
But, we will try to solve it as soon as possible, although it will not be corrected on 17th.

We will also post this 2 things again when we make the announcement next weekend.

Regards,

ok will definitely read the manual since there's one :)

hmm....IE huh....still it's worth sacrificing a bit of security for ProPilot :]

Hi Chris,

Yes, definately ProPilot will work on Firefox on a near future.
But, due to some stress on this final time, we don't have time to prepare it.

ive been watching your notices about this VA and I am very excited about this propilot addon,

i noticed it says that if you crash an airplane that airplane will not be available to use anymore

if i may make a sugestion, it would be nice to have the schedules automatically update not to have that airport available to land or takeoff until say 4-8 hours after, to simulate investigating, etc - if of course the crashed occured at an airport

i will probably join once this propilot is out, i want to start when that is available
thanks
