Dash 8 Q400

Hello,

I've been recently promoted to FC, so I've downloaded the DHC8 (excellent repaint btw) but I've been haing error messages when sending the PIREPs (aircraft not allowed or something like that), but on the fleet page the Dash 8 is listed on the Class 3 aircraft, so theorically I'm certified to fly it, right?

Another question: I'm using the Marco Spada panel, sometimes when I open the overhead or the throttle view both engines shutdown... Does anyone know how to fix this?

Finally, can I fly the aircraft and routes for Eurocargo and Euroholidays I see on the FlightLogger or do I need some kind of cerification?

Hi Nuno,

the Dash8 has an invalid name in the database, that is why the system do not recognize it. I am sure this problem will be fixed soon.

I am sorry to say, but I have not found yet similar error that engines stopped.

I had a simialr error. The solution was to make sure the battery and generator switches are on - they turn themselves off sometimes and then the engines die! ... Happened to me at 20000ft and almost crashed!!

Thanks for your replies, I have another question, mainly aimed at the staff: how do I go about changing my pilot's email address, I don't mean here in the forums because that can be done in the control panel, I mean in the main website in order to receive NOTAMs, etc.

yeah i have had that happen to me, i thought that i had run out of fuel or something, but the realised that the pannel had truned off.  later found out (by asking Ben) that i had turned off the generators!!!
