Removing Standard Aircraft from AI?
« on: October 18, 2005, 09:50:08 pm »
Hi Guys,

I use ProjectAI and I am trying to remove the standard 'World Travel' and 'Orbit' and 'Pacifica' rubbish that comes with FS2004 from the flight plans systems - how do I do this?

PAI provide an automated 'uninstall' for these, but it doesnt seem to work, any ideas?

Tim.

Hi Tim, I could uninstall that traffic by tha PAI stuff, but I remember it was not an easy one, and still remained some of them :) If you want, I can send you my GA-traffic.bgl, that 99% does not contain those fictious airlines ;)

Or you can always do it manually, just as the automatic script do:
1. Unpack the traffic.bgl
2. Open generated aircraft.txt and look for default airplanes that cause unreal traffic, like B737, B777, large turboprops...
3. Put down their aircraft ID
4. Open the generated flighplans.txt, and remove one by one those lines, that have these unnecessary IDs
5. Repack traffic.bgl and make a backup of it.
6. You are ready ;)
