The maldives?

We do have some flights... or at least had, I remember I proposed a flight there in the "propose a flight" thing and it was added, dont know if it's still there though, however dont be fooled, I went there as a stop to my EHAM-NZAA fligth and the whole island is the airport, the city is on another island, and they're very far away from each other.

Cheers,

Alex;)

Sounds good. Do you know an ICAO code for the airport? Or a city name? I have found it on the map, the Maldives are near India to the south.

I have been on Airliners.net and have you seen the netherlands Antilles and princess Juliana. That approach is the coolest ever. take a look at this pic
i foundhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/560048/L/

We should have a flight here, hint hint.;)

Yes, I have seen many pics from there, even some created within FS2004 ;) Looks cool. I think the EHB Concorde should have flights there.

If I'm thinking of the right airport then if you stand up against the fence in the picture when a 747 is taking off towards you, as it flies past you the force of it knocks you over! :o I really want to try that.

Its the Princess Juliana one, its the one of which there are so many pics in airliners.net. I agree we should have an EHM flight and an EHB one, but we should eliminate all those flights there are for the Concorde, we should have only a handful of flights. Like this one would be good.

Cheers,

Alex;)

Yeah it is.  In most landings at other airports pilots are trying to touch down a little bit up the runway but at this airport they aim to touch down at the very start of it so that they have enough runway left to stop.

I completed the flight there! ;D

I did flight EHM-H157 (LPPT-TNCM)

The flight was quite boring... exept the approach & landing (Once I left Lisbon all I saw of land was Santa Maria until I got to St. Maarten).

I'm probably going to do one of those articles for the Library about this flight (With Pics).

So look for it in a few days!

Cheers,

Alex;)

P.S. Gergely, I suppose I send it to you no?

Edit* Robert I think there's not enough space for the Concorde to take off...

Superb shots, Jonathat. Where did you get the scenery? Is that FS2004 in-built?

Well, the Concorde will not fly to the Caribbean Sea in the future. It is too far for the Concorde and many airports are not fitted for operations. I plan to use a TU-204 on the weekly LPPT-TNCM flights. Just in case if you will prefer it more than the B752 ;).
