My web password

Trying to get onto IVAO, says I need a "new" web password. Ive used the forgoten password and it still dosn't work. Anyone know what I could do?

Tim,

The new passwords that IVAO are giving out are fiendish complicated - numbers, lower and uppercase letters.

I had trouble with my new IVAN password, basically because I mistook a zero for an upper case "O" (oscar).

Can I humbly suggest you copy/paste the password(s) from the password reminder email IVAO sends you on request? Failing that, if like me you have to manually type in the password, use a font that makes it totally plain what each character is - I use "Glass Gauge" (I can pass on the TTF file, but we used to give it away on the main website for the "passenger tickets"...)

Ah... That makes things a little more difficult...

I'll have a quick fiddle about in the VA system to see if there is anything I can do there for you...

EDIT: Nope. Don't even get to see the email address you have registered with. Given the unstable nature of the IVAO network at the moment, I'd suggest leaving it an hour or so and trying again with the password reminder service.

When I re-got my passwords yesterday, the mail headers were:

From: "IVAO" <reminder@ivao.aero>
To: <murray AT not  DOT telling>
Subject: IVAO Reminder
Date: Fri, 25 Nov 2005 18:47:17 -0000

If you still don't find that email, get in touch with the IVAO membership department directly (although I suspect they're going to be busy...)
