A couple of Problems I\'m having
« on: December 01, 2005, 11:40:51 pm »
Hi Guys,

I wonder if any of you can help me with a couple of problems I am having.

1) I have Traffic 2005 running and it works fine, but I also have the NL2000 scenery installed. All AI traffic at EHAM seems to be sinking in to the ground. I have tried updating the AFCAD file but no joy. Any Ideas?

2) Not an important one, but on the EHM A320-200 V2 I have no beacons or strobes working on external views? Any Ideas.

Thanks

Well, if you install an AFCAD file exactly for NL2000 scenery, it should do the trick. Or you could try changing the altitude of EHAM in the exported Airports.txt file from Traffic.bgl

I am not sure, but I guess the A320 have some effects file in the installer that should be automatically moved to the main Effects folder. So, it is strange !

Thanks Robert,

I will take a look at it later on when I get back to Heathrow.

Cheers,

Hi Phil,

well, I analized the Airbus bug, and found the problem ! Inside the aircraft.cfg file there is a dead [lights] section. After that the real section is coming. You should erase the [lights] header in front of the real [lights] section, so the correct lights could appear.

I am sorry very much for this bug. :s

If NL2000 is installed correctgly you should have a folder called feature_panel within the nl2000_V2_91 folder. In that is an exec file Featurepanel.exe. Run that and on the NL2000 Misc tab check the box for NL2000 altitude-FS2004 which will reset the height of the AI.

Bill,

You are a star, I have trawled here there and everywhere trying to sort this but had never realized this utility was included.

To both of you, Thanks for your help. Problem solved. Topic closed.
