EuroBusiness 777 - more routes?
« on: December 14, 2005, 01:13:49 am »
Hi everyone,

I was thinking our shiny new 777 Worldliners are not being used to best advantage - they've inherited the routes that Concorde flew, which were necessarily limited because of the sonic boom effect. Yet the 777 doesn't have these restrictions but currently only flies on four routes...:[

Having checked the site stats, it looks to me like nobody's submitted a (valid) PIREP with the triple 7 since the fleet was reorganised...

As a current (FS2002) PSS 777 user who intends to upgrade to the FS9 version soon, I'm very keen to know if the airline is going to broaden the route structure for this magnificent bird? Seems a great shame if we don't take her to some other long distance, high revenue destinations... :'(

How about Hong Kong or Singapore - loads of business travellers need to go there... Or the oil rich nations of the Middle East ?

And besides, I want to try out some different airport scenery...;D

Any other 777 fans out there who agree..?

Hi Dominic,

You have a point. The situation is even more worse than that because your doubts also happen on another divisions.
All of this happened because we got a boom on Division flights after the timetable unification (basically we passed all the flights to the database and not just have them on a HTML page).

So, after that, pilots started to do a lot of Division flights, and your doubt (i am sure of it) is the doubt of many other pilots like you that fly for other divisions as well.

Logically we are very concerned with that problem. We are preparing a bunch of new Division flights to be inserted on the database. Unfortunately all of us are full of work and that process is being developed not as fast as we would like to...

I would ask you to be patient because we will introduce the new flights as soon as possible. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee you when, but it will be on a near future that's for sure.

Kindly Regards,

Bruno,

Thanks for the swift answer - I'll try and be patient ! It'll probably take me a while to get fully to grips with the new PSS 777 anyway, so I'll practice some circuits with her until the timetable update... ;)

It's nice to see more business flights with some really long-haul stay-up-all-night journeys. Thanks for those.

Now if someone could just move VHHH from Japan to China in FLogger. :o

One more question - on the Mission page for EuroBusiness the legs are MB01 to MB06. In FLogger they are MB01 to MB10.

Hopefully a total of 6 is correct as I doubt I could fit in 10 by the end of the month.

Just got myself the PSS Trip 7 as well. So hopefully if I can get up to speed by the end of the month, I will be taking her for her first Scheduled flight on the long IVAO event!
