Flight Logger Problems
« on: February 02, 2006, 01:12:56 am »
Whenever I try and "get this flight plan" from Flight Logger I get the following message.

"Can't load world magnetic variation table!"

Also, although I can fill out some of the required boxes in the Log page none of the buttons can be selected (they are greyed out)

I have tried all the solutions in other posts about Flight Logger on this forum but no luck. I guess unless there is an obvious solution to this I will just go back to filling out my PIREPS from the web page. (Which is really no hardship anyway :-)

Thanks

I get the same error message. What you can do, is click the routefinder logo when the message comes back, then manually fill in the constraints on that page. Then it will work. (Be sure to check RAD and CDR routes).

I still use the logger to file the PIREPs (there is nothing stopping you and you have to do so to make the flight on ProPilot) but I cannot submit to IVAO because of the http://www.ivao.aero new address.

You can get it direct at http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ and it will open up without the problem you are experiencing.

I am a registered user of that site - 15€ for 6 months. The main advantage at the moment is that it will export plans to FSNav, FS9, PMDG Lvl-D etc and route editing is planned for the future.

Thanks guys. Nice to know I'm not the only one with these problems. I had hoped to get it to work so that in the future I could use pro pilot (when I had more experience with the system) but it's still a d**n well run airline  to be working for ! :-) I'll keep trying to get it to work.
