Hi folks,
it is a hard question, because there are many points next and against the decision. Some facts:
The A340-600 was selected for the fleet about 3 years ago. Since then, PSS and freeware POSKY released their 200/300 series airplane. The aircraft itself is as big, and almost as heavy as our A330-300. Only the range and cargo capacity is different. The 600, and later 500 variant was a record holder in long distance flying. These are much heavier, and longer than the 300 variant, therefore nicely fit into Class 7 at EuroHarmony. The A340 is not very popular at EHM...maybe because of this question, maybe not...who knows. The current EHM model was built for FS2000 so it is rather old. 2 freeware groups have already been working on the famous 500 variant. That will be replaced as soon it will arrive. The current plane will be maintained in the near future, and will be renewed.
What I can advice to PSS owners now, is to use our freeware model with the PSS panel.
