OK ive just tried about 3 times to get out of the bowl and its really hard. I even did it with a prop plane. I think the only way out of there it with a foghter jet.

p.s. dont try with a jumbo, its nasty!

I knew this airfield already.
You can get out of the bowl with a cessna, just make sure to listen to the stall horn and keep turning. :P

Should have an old screenshot in here

Also tried the Fokker 70 and almost made it.

I gave it a go and boy was that hard! Obviously a problem with the terain mesh, I think it needs a patch? lol. Anyway, I then attempted to land. It didn't seem to hard until I had to carry out a very steep decent which meant I glided over half of the runway before toutching down! ;D . I was successful and here are the results:

Cheers

On virtual.planepictures.net I found a couple of pics that would indicate that bigger birds took off from there:

I'll give it some tries later on, and I'll let you know of the results... right now I'm flying LSZH-LHBP in the CRJ ;D

Ok, I did it...
First, I tried with the CRJ 200ER... Getting out of the crater was no problem, but landing was impossible. At best I managed to touch down about 100ft from the end of the rwy... so not enough room to stop it.

Getting out of the crater in the CRJ 200ER:

But then I realised that there is one plane in the EHM fleet that could do it (besides the ones in the VFA) Antonov 140 ;D
Getting out was no problem:

Ok, now let's try to get back in there... full flaps, landing gear down, spoilers, and a very hard slide:

Lining up, a little high over the tresh-hold:

Touch down - a little to the right though - and full stop, with plenty of rwy left:

Ok, so it can be done :8

I think it's fake...

A DC-10 needs more then the 1500 meters of runway SESM provides to t/o and land

OK ive found some info here it is...
-The airport is just a hole in the earth because Microsoft obviously overdid the mesh terrain in this case :-).

-Make a short trip from SEAM to SESM, approx. 30 NM.

I remember the airport was included in FS2000 too and it looked just the same. Also it's possible to make it in a DHC-6.
