Wonder how many planes in our fleet we've lost;)

Try to land at BIIS, I almost crashed the plane 3 times until I managed to land (it was on IVAO).

Other dangerous airfields are VNLK and LFLJ.

I tried SESM to in a B737. It took me 4 times to get the plane on the runway. In a rather passenger-unfriendly way. I brought the plane in a stall, started a lot of prayers, and pushed the thrust-levers full forward, pulled the nose up, bounced a long the runway and came to a stop with a few meters to spare. I'm still trying to get the plane out of this godforsaken hole.

For me Kai-Tak will always be the most challenging airport.

That checkerboard scares the hell outta me when approaching in an 747.  d**n...

Ive landed at the new airport I think it was at Hong Kong. Its was kinda hard cos it was in a 747 and it was really foggy. Lucky I know how to use ILS ;)
It was a perfect landing in a 747 for me. Well the first time I landed it :%

I don't recall a rule about flying the plane of your choice on non-scheduled EHM flight as long as you don't report it, right?

Try the airfield called SABA (that's the ICAO code if I remember correctly). It's a small airstrip on a vulcano island near the netherlands antilles. My mom used to visit that island frequently in a Twin Otter, but even with a Cessna this is one impossible airstrip for me!

Good God... remember Lukla (VNLK)?
A plane just crashed trying to land there (May 25th).
It was a De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 operated by Yeti Airlines, reg 9N-AFD, and was flying a cargo load from Kathmandu. At that the time of the crash there was heavy cloud buildup over the 3,600 m Lamjura Pass which planes have to cross to get into Lukla. All three people on board were killed. RIP

First you need to upload the image to the internet. If you do not have your own webpage upload it to imageshack.us or another image host

Just for laughs try an airport in Washington State - ICAO: 15S...the runway is only 400' because it's meant for ultralights but it's a beautiful area to fly in because it's so close to Mt. Rainier

Well, I always wanted to try these airports, so tonite I will give it a go.

Do you remember the movie Air America ? There was a tricky airstrip there too, which was in a hills side. It was easy to land because after touchdown, the plane should hillclimb, so it stopped soon. Takeoff was also funny... downhill ;D

While flying about in Eastern Europe, I found some interesting places:

LW0C, LW0D, LW0E etc - I wonder what kinds of planes can land/take off on these airfields...

LAKO - Another 'hole in the ground' style airport

enjoy! :)
