How are folks passing time whilst EHM is grounded?

Just an attempt to spark up a little conversation amongst dedicated EHM pilots who are still around eagerly waiting our relaunch.

What are you guys doing flightsim wise to pass the time before the EHM relaunch.

I've been polishing up my landing in small VFR aircraft and slightly larger turbo props, using the STAR downloaded from the Internet. It's been good to have the time to spend researching and practising some of these appoaches.
I have also spent a little time on some of the flights supplied with FS2002. Some of these are quite challenging, especially the one's with the strong crosswinds.
Also, having installed the UK VFR scenery for the South West now I have been flying around Devon and Cornwall getting a feel for real VFR navigation.

All in all, missing EHM but having great fun anyway.

What about everyone else?

I did a few flights after the website was down thinking it was something quite temporary, then I totally stopped and Ive mostly dedicated myself to flying choppers in FS, especially between the islands in Greece/Turkey.

Cheers!

Alex ;)

I've been downloading every possible Project AI airline and just doing short one hour flights between various cities. I'm getting kind of bored though!

I didn't realise there were so many new Project AI files. I've been and downloaded a few more airlines myself now. Mind, it was impossible to squeeze in and land at Heathrow with the airlines I did have so I guess now will be even more manic.

Yeah with some good AFCAD-files and all the Project AI packages, Heathrow isn't fun to be at all. (I like looking at planes that isn't the bad part, but I hate to get hold short instructions every few minutes)....

I used to think the same but the new PC stops this being the main issue. Now the main issue is the frustrating inability to speak to ATC before they start shouting at you for not responding. It is impossible to butt in with your reply. It should be possible to override the AI flight ATC stuff with your own. Surely it's a simple case of who has priority when speaking. They do after all come in with their comments part way through a communication. Officially they should wait for our reply before coming in with their own comments to the tower.
