First flight with Fokker 50 [400k]

I was in Bucharest (LROP) with a CRJ 200ER when I got the news of the new Fokker 50... so I decided to go to Athens and take the new bird for a spin...

First, I returned to LGAV with the CRJ:

So, I took control of a F50 and decided to fly LGAV-LRCK (3750)
The new bird was ready to be filled with passengers, and the nice flight attendant was taking care of them:

Ready for startup, nice Olymic ATRs in the background:

Engines started, GPU removed:

I was number 5 for takeoff, here are the last two, Air France A320 and Olymic ATR 72:

Holding short, Olympic ATR-72 ready for departure:

Finally it was my turn, I used very little runway:

Gear up, nice British Airways 757 taxiing to 21L:

Climbing over the sea:

All in all, a very nice aircraft, but a frame-rate killer (at least on my computer:[), and a very bad panel (in my oppinion).

Congratulations on the repaint, Gergely... and by the way, I like the new shade of blue on it.

WOW! That aircraft is amazing! I love the ground effects and the light reflecting off of the windows. I have never noticed that before, is it something new?

Cheers

Hmm somehow the planes seem to look very real when looked from the top! :P Nice shots there.........but how do you keep your plane right on the line when taxing? :P

That's why the lines are there, to follow them.  ;D

I'm not always on the center line, but I try to be when I'm taking screenshots... I guess the secret is low speed, small inputs, and sometimes spot-view...

Are all the new planes being re-painted going to have that lighter shade of blue? I flew a flight with the new Dornier the other day and it had the same light shade of blue.:) Its very nice! Great job!

By the way the light reflecting off the windows... in what pic. is it in? I didnt really notice it.

Cheers,

Alex;)

Did you use the panel that can be downloaded from the same location as the F50 or did you get it from this site.

http://www.fokker50.com/

I use the panel from this link above and it is a very good panel with a good documentation.

I used the one provided by EHM... I will check the one you gave me after I land in BGSF (long way to go)... but if it's the one with audio checklists, I know it, and it is by far the best freeware panel available.

Ok, I checked the panel you recommended, I had version 3.0 long time ago, now I see they released v3.4 for FS9... as I said before, by far the best freeware panel available. As soon as I get back from Sondrestrom (BGSF), I will take the Fokker for a few more flights ;D

Yea the Fokker 50 panel is great, that's for sure! Also i like the Fokker 70/100 panels from Project Fokker..
Lots of overhead, engine/fuel and pressure options -> I Like that!  :]
