Hey Murray and all,

Just booked my C1 pratical, passed the theory lastnight with 90/100 and got Gaz examining me....lol

Was nervous at first, but spoke with on msn and now ok lol

The date is:

Tuesday 6th of June! at 19:00 BST ( 18:00 Zulu)

IFR traffic welcomed and if you want to do VFR you need to be prepared for SVFR (special Visual Flight Rules) as VFR is not permitted at heathrow.

Well done on the theory Conrad, and best of luck on the practical. I'll try to be there in time for you; I want to fly EHM5037 (yet again...) if I can get home early enough. Bit heartless to say it, but I hope the traffic levels for you are low so I get a decent chance to arrive...

hehe cheers, yeh i just got an email from Peter, yeh he unfortunatly failed his C2, but really half of it wasnt his fault...

He was given many flights by EGTL that were extrememly close and on collision routes, combined with poor piloting skills by quite a few pilots (obviosly none of you guys) it caused some big problems.

+ Server problems also gave him hastle, he was rather unlucky, but im sure he will be ok next time

You deserve it. Definately one of the most professional guys that I saw giving ATC on EGLL.

Conrad, unfortunately I will have to put the record straight a little here! I'm in some way to blame for the other half of Peters miss fortune! I had an equipment failure (for some reason I lost the PFD & EICAS displays on my 2d cockpit) and I am sorry for that. I should have disconnected when the problem became apparent.

Man, poor Peter..it's like EGLL has a hexx on him.. his second try in a month :{ ..And he realy deserves it...excellent controller...

Boring? I'll send some harriers up and put patriot batteries on standby when ur inbound

should spice it up a little

Expect my C1 maybe next week or soo.. I'll just never mind the training and give it my best :%

Well done Conrad, thought you controlled us all brilliantly and was nice to get some hold practice....the funny thing was i actually had no idea it was your exam last night and i was just doing a normal flight from eddf - egll by coincidence....wondered why there were so many EHM pilots about!!! Well i was going to provide approach at Heathrow tonight, but my C1 exam still hasn't been validated by the "validator" so im still stuck at S3......

So decided to take a nice flight from EGLL > KSFO
